Grassway Organics is a grazing dairy farm in East Troy, Wisconsin, run by Chaz and Megan Self, who took it over in 2016.
They milk about 40 Jersey cows, all A2/A2 and 100% grass fed, on 210 acres of rotationally grazed pasture, moving the milking herd four times a day. Laying hens follow the cows through the fields in mobile coops, and the farm also raises meat chickens, dairy steers and Thanksgiving turkeys on pasture.
Their milk, cheese, meats and eggs are sold from the farm store and through their online store, alongside pastured pork raised at Golden Bear Farm in Kiel, Wisconsin, fed no corn, soy or GMOs. The farm also hosts pizza on the farm nights and other community events.

Love this place.
Lovely experience! I highly recommend this for a date or family outing. From May-Sept. on Friday’s and Saturday’s they have a brick oven pizza that is one of the best I’ve ever had including travels to Italy! All local ingredients and $30 for a pizza that easily serves 2-3 people. I ate half a pizza and didn’t feel bloated afterwards. It was delicious. On Saturday’s at 1pm there is a farm tour where you can walk the farm and get up close and personal with the cows. I was in heaven! Our tour guide Ursula was fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable and funny! All cows and chickens are grass fed 24/7 and all products are organic. They even have a local store which carries local and organic goods. They have raw milk which is fantastic and safe, you just have to pay a $10 annual fee to buy it. One of my favorite places so far in WI!

This place is our newest favorite place to go with our kids and grandkids! The specialty pizzas are outdoor oven cooked and delicious 😋. They always have live entertainment that is nice and mellow. The setting is amazing. Beautiful sunsets and a lot of livestock for the kids to see. Adults and kids alike love this place to go to enjoy the outdoors, great pizza, and entertainment! We even sat directly next to a celebrity who was there with her family and another couple just chilling out 😎. She's in the pictures! Guess who?
This was our first visit, and it was excellent despite being so busy. Lots for the kids to do, lovely live music, and the pizza was excellent.
Caught the best weather and sunset over the weekend for our first ever visit to Grassway! The pizza was good, but the atmosphere was GREAT! Here's what to expect: 🍕Bring: Picnic blanket, chairs, a table is a nice to have, wet wipes for kids, a cozy blanket or jackets since it gets chillier as the sun sets. 🍕Pizzas are about $30 each. 🍕Bathroom lines for portable toilets get long. Go before you arrive to save some time! 🍕On busy nights, pizza can take a while so order as soon as you arrive. Someone will walk through the grounds calling your name when it is ready. We also got a text that our pizza was going into the oven. 🍕There are hay bales for the kids to climb. A big open field too so bring a soccer ball! 🍕They have a good variety of alcoholic and NA beverages.
Amazing place that not only serves up the most delicious pizzas at their "Pizza on the Farm" events every Friday and Saturday night but also has a farm store with delicious and organic and gluten free offerings. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and we look forward to working with them much more in in the future supplying hardwood firewood for their pizza ovens: ) from YPGA!
