Sweet Grass Dairy is a family owned farm in Fredericktown, Ohio, raising happy, healthy animals on pasture.
The beef is entirely grass fed and grass finished under regenerative grazing, no animal is given antibiotics, and the feed is grown with organic practices by a partner farmer within ten miles of the farm.
Raw milk comes through a herdshare, and the farm also sells grass fed beef, woodlot pork, pasture raised poultry and eggs, soaps and bakery goods. Shop at the farm store six days a week, order online for pickup, or use the weekly delivery service, which reaches as far as Columbus.

I get my eggs and meat weekly from them! They deliver to my driveway. The food to amazing and their service is fantastic. I love being able to source my food locally and support a local farm!
I came here after watching a race at mid-Ohio, it was worth the drive! High quality meats, along with delicious ice cream. The peanut butter and date chocolate is my favorite. I purchased from a very polite and humorous young lady, who was very patient despite my lack of knowledge! There was a very cute dog that came up to greet me as well.
The Sweetgrass Farm Store is a very nice orderly place. The meats are frozen solid and stored properly. The milks and cheeses are in appropriate coolers. There are several payment options available. The store is monitored via cameras for safety.

Took our family to visit and pick up some meat. Loved all of the options and how the whole family there is involved in helping the business. They were very nice and we’ll be looking for an excuse to make the drive again. We picked up a selection of meats for Father’s Day, fresh honey, cookies, and even some 3D printed dragons. There were so many animals to see too. Very fun.

They have the most AMAZING fresh raw milk + cream! 😋It is so good! I make yogurt with it and it’s the best yogurt ever. We love the herdshare option, this is definitely the best way to get your dairy if you don’t have a cow yet!: )
All the meats are frozen. Great selection of all kinds of meat, cheese, milk, creamer, kefier and cheeses etc. They pack a punch for a little building. The daughter helped us and was friendly. Big farm. Fairly easy to get to on the non snow roads from 71. They are close to the Lobtah shack guy too 😁. Happy we went to see their stock.
I've never visited the actual store (on my bucket list) but I do buy their products through local business near me. Every single item that I've ever bought from Sweetgrass has been phenomenal. They were my first experience with raw dairy and I am now obsessed. The cheese and butter are also fantastic! And I am so excited to receive my first meat (1/2 cow) order from them. I should have it in a few weeks. It's crucial that we support our local farmers! And Sweetgrass will forever be my go-to farm family! Their regenerative farming methods are the only way our country should be farming and I love this about them. I love following their farming adventures on social media too!
Sweet Grass is a beautiful, well kept farm. We are so grateful that we found Sweet Grass. The milk is amazing and we ordered our first quarter cow with their amazing harvest special deal. We are excited to try it. They even ferment the grass so the cows get healthy grass all year long!! What a blessing to our family.
