Mahaffey Farms is a family run farm in Haughton, Louisiana raising grass fed and finished beef alongside pasture raised pork, chicken and eggs.
The animals live outdoors and move regularly onto fresh grass, an approach the family uses to feed the soil and regenerate the land as they farm.
You can shop at the farm store, collect a pick up order, or have a box delivered to your door on Tuesdays and Thursdays through their home delivery service. The store also carries local bison, dairy, produce and pantry goods, and everything can be ordered through the online shop.

We were looking for source of fresh eggs. Boy did we find them, plus found chickens from head to toe litterly. Also stocked up on beef. Bought so much might take month or two before try each item, but will gladly suffer through it.

Customer service could use a little work…didn’t feel really welcome. Felt super weird no explanation of what the concept was…and kind of expensive. I want to support local business just not at my demise.
It’s so fun to stop by here and see what’s new. They always have fresh home grown produce and amazing farm raised andouille sausage at very reasonable prices. Now they are growing their own back yard tomatoes—heirloom, regular, and cherry tomatoes. All are sweet and so much better than supermarket tomatoes. Thank you for your great products.
