Olde Pine Spring Farm keeps a small herd of miniature Nubian dairy goats in Minerva, Ohio, bred from strong milking lines.
The goats graze on pasture daily when the weather allows, with fresh hay and quality grain at milking time, and the farm favours gentle, natural care for the herd, staying deliberately small.
In line with Ohio law, the milk is sold through a herd share. You buy in to the herd, pay a small monthly fee and collect your share of milk each week, with cheese available in place of milk if you prefer. Never tried goat milk? They will happily give you a free sample to get you started.
