Rib eye steak tough. Sorry to say lamb steaks no better. What has happened to the best butchers in ystrad. Sorry to say should have gone to aldi. Even my husband said this before me. So sorry.

This is still the best butchers in Caerphilly valley if not in South Wales. Service is always with a smile and a chat. Never ever had a bad bit of meat from there and shopped there for over 20 years! Simply the best 💓

2 yr update, Chris and his hard working friendly team are still smashing it with exceptional quality meat and service. He has invested a lot of time, money and effort towards raising the bar at his beautiful little shop and keeping up to date with the times. They literally deliver the quality, via home delivery service, along with a variety of condiments, often locally sourced…. I still happily support this local butcher and will continue to do so 😊 Chris runs a very clean, friendly and professional Butchers. Steaks have always been beautiful and the staff are very knowledgeable. Sausages are packed with flavour, with different varieties. Throughout the covid lockdowns they offered delivery service for those who are vulnerable and unable to leave home. Definitely one worth supporting.

The sausages, bacon, the turkey were so yummy and perfect for our family gathering. It was a thumbs up from Milo! Becky lovingly transformed the pork shoulder into marinated pulled pork for the Christmas eve dinner. Thanks again!

Had 2 T-bone steaks from this place that were breathtakingly delicious. They were even priced well got the whole thing for less than a decent fillet in a supermarket. I'm definitely going back especially when BBQ weather gets here. Customer service was great and even got some great chipping potatos in the same shop.
