This is one of the best butchers you will find.Fantastic produce great service.Cannot fault it in any way.

I have just been to this butcher and was very surprised and, frankly, shocked. I asked for cooked ham slices which were in the chilled counter. I noticed that the woman serving touched her face before she asked what I wanted. She did not wash her hands before handing the slices of cooked ham. I was taken aback, and asked if she should be wearing gloves? I should have also asked why she didn't use tongs etc. But by this time I was almost speechless. Her reply was that she washes her hands. I'm not sure what the staff member has been taught about food hygiene, but obviously needs retraining. I will not be buying anything from this butcher in future.

Made a special journey to visit this shop. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Deli dept were very well stocked, loads to choose from. Pies/roast pork were so fresh they were still warm. Butchery dept very clean meat looked very good, great selection. Easy to find. Would I go again defo.

Absolutely bloody brilliant. Hot quiche, sausage rolls and scotch eggs are to die for all proper quality, old school, homemade. Fantastic. Outstanding. We love this place.
