Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese makes farmstead cheese on a 350 acre family farm in Austin, Kentucky, from the milk of its own closed crossbred herd of American and European Holstein, Australian Red, Brown Swiss and Jersey cows.
Kenny oversees both the dairy and the creamery with its aging caves, matching the milk to the cheeses, and since the barn was rebuilt in 2016 the cows have been milked by a robotic milking centre they visit whenever they choose. The herd is bred and raised on the farm from birth, and the cows are said to live twice as long as their breed averages.
The range runs from cheddars, Gouda, Colby and Monterey Jack to European styles, curds and fromage blanc, sold from the farm's cheese shop, by mail order and in stores around Kentucky. Visitors are welcome on scheduled production days. The cows graze pasture most of the time with alfalfa hay, corn silage and a grain supplement, there is no rBST, and antibiotics are used only when an animal's life is at risk.

Amazing air bnb on site! Cheese is made on site. Best I've ever tasted. Owners and employees are amazing. And cows!!!
Awesome place, an icon for South Central KY. Some of the best cheese you could ask for. Go visit, you wont be sorry!
Their cheese is the best! They offer samples, and are super friendly! After tasting 5 different cheeses, I ended up only buying one (the blue cheese), just because I had several packages of cheese at home already, but as soon as those are gone, I will be back. They also offer gift baskets and shipping! Oh, and you can go into the Barn and watch as the cows are milked!

We do not hold prices, availability, parking, access details or event dates for Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese. The farm answers those directly on its own site or by phone.
Delicious Cheeses to choose from also offers samples! Reasonable prices!
I purchased $100 worth of cheese as a gift for my son, and unfortunately two of the cheeses were rancid and moldy. The smell alone made it clear the product was not safe or properly handled. I contacted the company and was eventually directed to speak with the owner, Kenny. I explained the situation and offered to return the spoiled cheese in exchange for a refund. I was told that a refund was not possible, and no alternative resolution was offered. No follow up or corrective action was taken. We were left holding spoiled, unusable product and received no support from the business. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from this company. Poor product quality and equally poor customer service.

I will start with the store. The cheeses were amazing. We purchased many and got to taste samples. The staff at the store was so friendly and a good selection. The Airbnb, we stayed at was the farm house. It was awesome, the cleaning staff had the house extremely clean. The house had so much room and the kids loved the freedom. We also got to see two baby calves being born. We also explored some of the property and cooled off in a large creek in the summer heat. Mr. Kenny and Mr George was so helpful explaining the farm operations to us and the kids. It was a great experience!!!!
