Very nice and sweet people. ❤️
Great little dairy farm for picking up cheese, milk, eggs, yogurt, and they also sell some meat.
Such a sweet little local gem! The farm store is absolutely adorable and feels so welcoming. We pre-ordered and picked up cheese, meats and flowers for Valentine's Day. I have also tried their milk and yogurt from the farmers market. Both were excellent. Everything feels so fresh and carefully made. You can tell there’s pride behind every product. And the flowers were absolutely beautiful. Walking out with a bouquet along with farm-fresh groceries makes the whole experience feel extra special. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why shopping local matters. We’ll definitely keep coming back, so grateful to have this sweet spot in our community!
This is a wonderful, family-owned meat and dairy farm. They are active in the community, care for all of their animals, always kind and polite, and offer excellent meat and dairy products. Their cheeses, cured meats, and milk are some of the best around!
Discovering the Chesapeake Gold Farms has been a delightful coincidence for us. We came across their products in the Newark farmer's market, where we were offered amazing samples of cheese and milk. The quality was so amazing that we were instantly hooked and never went back to store-bought milk. Sure, the price is not as low as industrially-produced milk, but a few more bucks are, in my opinion, a very small price for such high quality milk. The milk has a wonderful rich taste, and it goes perfectly with coffee (perfect for lattes!). They have a wide selection of cheeses and they constantly add in new flavors, I highly recommend the onion cheddar, and their ciderhouse is just great. We have also tried their different cuts of meat, which were incredibly delicious and high quality, in stew or stir-fry, as well as cooked as steak. In addition to all of their amazing products, they are a wonderful family who are always helpful. Bob in particular has been so wonderful in helping us, especially during the colder season when the outdoor Farmer's markets aren't happening. It is very convenient to send him a text message and ask if I can pick up milk/yogurt/meat and he will let me know when to go. They have a cute little shop on the farm which apparently used to belong to their farm doctor a century (?) ago, really something to see with the abtique style hardwood floor to the medicine cabinet, which they've kept intact. Bob has also given me ideas for recipes with different cuts of meat that confused me. They always have different specials too, from a dairy-lover special to a person who is into charcuterie boards for hosting events. Cannot recommend more, and if you're looking for high quality food, this is definitely a place to go. Supporting their business will also ensure that others (including your children!) can enjoy their high quality and nutritious products for years to come.
At their recommendation we made burgers with their ground beef and topped it with the Italian Colby cheese tonight and it was amazing. We also love their yogurt and beef sticks. Very happy we got to meet them at Broken Spoke’s Mother’s Day event.
