Lynne always treated our family very well. We got chickens, Quarters of beef, half pigs and scrapple. Everything was great. Our favorite burgers of all time were thanks to Lynne. She also took the time to know our family and try to get us our favorite cuts.
Website has an AI recipe for steak that ruined my steak and my pan. Oil is a burnt glaze that won't come off and now my pan is unusable. After this I ran it through an AI checker and confirmed it was 90.4% AI. Mike Ferguson claims credit for writing the recipe. Thanks a lot Mike.
There have been repeated incidents of animal neglect, specifically with the Ferguson family farm Hoffmanville rd Pasture. Reported incidents include: calf’s roaming down hoffmanville rd., Bull’s roaming down Hoffmanville rd. The owners do not live near the pasture, so those of us who do, feel a great sense of responsibility for the health and wellbeing of the animals. On Friday 11/28/25, a concerned citizen reported via facebook that a baby calf was separated from the herd and mother who had been moved to an upper gated field (no one l knows who owns the field or how to contact the owner and caregiver of the animals). I saw the message the next day and ran to the field with packing blankets. With consent from the adjacent property owner, I jumped the electric fence to help an animal in distress. You would think the owner of the animal who does not live in the general area would be appreciative of any attempt to help her animals in distress. I did my best to revive the calf, the mother was separated in the upper pasture (fenced off). Unfortunately the calf did not make it. It is straight up forward neglect. Neglect with knowledge. I called the owner of Ferguson farms. Lynne’s contact information is public on the Ferguson website. She threatened me with liable if I broached the property again. The my packing blankets that I attempted to save her calf with into the MIDDLE of hoffmanville rd. Wind won’t do that. It was deliberate. She made it clear that future incidents of animal neglect should directly be reported to the Maryland department of agriculture and animal control. Sharing this information as a matter of fact and as instructions if you encounter animal neglect at any Ferguson’s farms locations. I also advise any local businesses working with Ferguson farms to pay attention to the lack of animal husbandry your vendor is practicing @millers.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Sorry to say our turkey wasn’t very good, Very tough and chewy and no flavor. Would never pay $95 for a turkey again. Also had their breakfast sausage, again no flavor. That being said, very nice people to do business with.
The best of the best Turkey we have ever had!! The real deal! This is our second year getting the 22 pounder and it was so damn good! And worth every penny. And Thanksgiving only comes once a year, and why not get the best bird that‘s pure, real and the way God intended it to be.
