Here’s a polished, refined version of your review We visited Ramsey’s Farm for strawberry picking with young children on a warm day, arriving early to take advantage of the cooler morning hours. The strawberry vines were plentiful and easy to navigate, making for a rewarding and relaxed picking experience. What made the visit especially memorable was how thoughtfully the farm is set up for families. Beyond the fields, there were multiple activities designed to keep children engaged. A favorite was the water feature area where kids could pump water and send small ducks through channels—an interactive space that held their attention far longer than expected. There was also a small goat viewing area where the children could watch the animals up close, as well as a simple musical play station with pots and pans that encouraged creative sound play. During our visit, Farmer Carl made a point to greet the children personally, which added a warm and welcoming touch, especially since they recognized him from his social media presence. It made the experience feel community-oriented and personal. Given the ages of the children (2–5), the strawberry picking itself held attention for about 20 minutes, but the additional activities made it easy for the adults to continue picking while the kids stayed happily engaged nearby with one adult. The farm market was another highlight, offering a well-curated selection of fresh vegetables, beef, cheese, fruit, and flowers—everything felt local and thoughtfully presented. Overall, it was a wonderful family outing with a balance of hands-on farming, engaging activities for children, and quality local goods. We’re already looking forward to returning for blueberry picking.
Very small farm with a playground. They have strawberry picking and a product e stand. I saw 3 little goats while there. Not much to do in the summer but they do offer hay rides and corn maze in the fall.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Best farm stand in Delaware. Definitely worth the visit. Good people and honest hard workers!
Went here for strawberry picking and they had amazing strawberries but at the end they put it in a bag. By the time I got home they are were turned to slime. So idk. If you go never choose a bag only cartons because my experience was awful now.
First State Trail race 😁. Scenic views! Plenty of trails. Fruits and veggies.
Location was beautiful. Easy 2, 3 hour field trip or family outing. Portapotty was clean. If you around there stop by. The people that own it seem to have a passion for growing and entertainment.
BEFORE HALLOWEEN! VISITED ON OCTOBER 26, 2024 My family and I couldn’t have picked a more lovely day to visit this farm for the first time. I work at a college and they decided to take students to visit a few weekends ago. I looked it up on Google Maps and was definitely curious to check out as well. Since COVID, my family and I have been going to random farms in October prior to Halloween. It gives us to spend time together as our lives get busier and our daughter gets older. We had a sunny, breezy (more windy) day. It’s a big farm with plenty activities. Corn maze, hay rides, play area for little ones, sunflower farm, purchase a variety of pumpkins straight off the fields. You can purchase baked good, beverages. There was a food truck too. A great place to visit as a couple or with children. Limitless photo opportunities. We definitely had a great time! Verdict: MUST CHECK out next year!
