Highland Orchards is a family farm at Wilmington in Delaware, growing fruit and vegetables with sustainable methods and inviting customers to get to know the people behind their food.
The farm has been passed down through the same family for generations, with each one refining how the growing is done.
Produce is sold through the farm's long running Community Supported Agriculture programme, which shares the harvest with member families while showing them how it is grown, and through an online market that also lists farm raised meat such as ground beef. The farm opens six days a week, Monday to Saturday.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be able to find a farm near me! I love the fresh produce and herbs homemade breads and more! Always a joy to come to this farm and be able to check out what new items they have! Best little local treat!

This hidden gem is a mecca for pesticide free locally grown produce! They are a small, local farm that sells fresh produce which tastes so much better than that found in grocery stores. And, they are wonderful people!
