Moo 2 U is a family run dairy farm at Adairville, a mile across the Tennessee and Kentucky state line, run by Mike, who carries on a long family tradition of dairy farming.
The herd is all Jersey cows kept on a grass focused diet of pasture, dry hay and grass silage with a locally mixed feed for vitamins and minerals, and the cows are milked just once a day to keep stress low.
Antibiotics are used only when medically necessary under a vet's supervision and growth hormones not at all. The milk is supplied through herd shares, delivered to customers around the greater Nashville area and Clarksville.
