Southspoon Farms is a family run dairy at Yantis, Texas, unusual in milking both cows and goats in the same barn.
Jersey cows and Alpine and Saanen dairy goats graze coastal Bermuda grass pastures, and the family knows many of the animals by name, a mark of how closely the herd is cared for.
Milk and other farm products are sold through the farm store and the online shop, which offers pickup at the farm as well as in Tyler, Van Alstyne and at the Tolleson Market. The farm store opens Thursday to Saturday, and the family welcomes educational visits too.

Cute local farm store. The goat milk here is fresh, creamy, and delicious. Lots of other good finds also.
Great raw milk and goods like cheese meat, eggs. Our family discovered this gem when we moved to E TX. It's family run and everyone is beyond friendly, they now have some fresh veggies also, along with local honey and bread.

I tell people all the time “If you live within driving distance of Southspoon Farms you are crazy to buy your milk, yogurt, kefir from anywhere else!” And they keep adding other great products like goat soap, honey, pickles, beef, chicken…the list goes on and on! This is a great, hard working family that I am proud to support!
Best raw milk in the area! We’ve been buying from them for almost a year and have been consistently impressed. We really appreciate the convenient pickup locations near our home. Plus, my kids love their chocolate milk — and I love that it’s made with clean, simple ingredients, especially compared to other farms we’ve tried in the past.

Well worth the drive! I have tried every farm in the Dallas area and East, Texas. This family has an amazing farm and I would confidently say their milk is the very best I've ever had (and I've been looking). Their meat is not only a great price but it is also amazing quality. It's a relief to finally find a farming family who does things the right way. All of the meat and dairy I eat comes from here for the past 2 years and I am the healthiest I've ever been. If you are trying to introduce friends and family to the benefits of buying from a local farm, or just looking for amazing products, this is your place.
Very friendly owners. Walked us through the farm. Amazing prices and really good products all fresh-cow's milk, goat's milk, yogurt, cream, chocolate milk, farm fresh eggs, goat cheese, and various meats. Looking forward to visiting again!
