Spring 2026

The Death of Normal Milk

23 minutes · Released 31 May 2026

Watch the film

This spring, we set out to explore the story of raw milk, how it became controversial, what we've lost, and what its future could mean for the food we all eat.

Milk is misunderstood

For thousands of years, people drank milk straight from the cow. It was simply milk. About a century ago, industrialisation changed that. The original became “raw,” and the processed version became “normal,” without much question.

This isn't about saying pasteurised milk is bad. It's about remembering what came before, and that it still exists.

Plaw Hatch Farm in Sussex, a biodynamic cooperative running for 45 years, produces unpasteurised milk that's tested daily and collected by families from across the country. The women who run it don't call it “raw milk.” They call it milk.

This spring, we visited to make a film to ask a simple question: what else have we been told is dangerous that was once just the way things were?

A new film every season

Every season, we explore and unearth a new part of the food system, filming the people who never stopped doing things the way they always were. Then we put the whole thing out, free, for anyone who wants to watch.

View all seasons

We are a group of friends who got frustrated with the food system, so we took it into our own hands to build a better future for our kids.

Organised started because Niall, our founder, could not find real nutrition for his family and was fed up with relying on synthetic vitamins and powders full of ingredients he could not pronounce. So he went back to real food, from farmers he knows by name, and created the world's first whole food organ blend with collagen, colostrum and raw honey.

The product is a big part of it, and we believe in it wholeheartedly, but our ambition goes further. The films we make are part of something bigger, and every season we take on a different corner of the food system, to make people question the things they always thought were normal.
