Great farm shop.
Super milk and yoghurt, the best for miles!
Fresh pasteurised and unhomogenised milk and also double cream is what I like the best. They have other good stuff too like fresh local grown vegetables, flavoured milk, home made jam and their own honey.
A real gem in the heart of Lancashire! I had such a great experience at Pulford Farm Shop. It's not just a place to shop – it’s a genuine celebration of local, whole, unprocessed food. From their home-reared meats to raw milk, yoghurt and ice cream (produced right on the farm!), everything feels thoughtfully sourced and lovingly presented. One of the highlights was chatting with Sally, the owner. She's incredibly passionate about real food and functional health – it’s clear she practices what she preaches. We had a great conversation about the importance of whole foods, and she was especially enthusiastic about stocking Revive MindBody’s range of organic health drinks, including the popular Hormone Harmony SeaMos gel. The shop also has a lovely selection of fresh produce, eggs, jams, chutneys, and those little extras that make shopping local such a joy. If you're near Darwen, Blackburn or anywhere in Lancashire, do yourself a favour and stop by. It’s open 7 days a week, and the quality – and warmth – speak for themselves.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up
Ok it is actually a farm shop on a farm. The prices are a bit on the high side but what we bought was good quality. We bought two gammon steaks but to be fair one would have done as they were huge. I don't know who supplies their pork pies but they are lovely. Nice crisp pastry, well seasoned meat and a tasty jelly to finish off. Lastly we had some oat and cinnamon cookies, not cheap but we will be back for more. It is a bit out of the way and the roads are not exactly car friendly.
What could one more ask for? Never tried organic raw milk in 2.5 years and when i tried it’s just so delicious… 100% recommend.. i dunno know the owners yet but they seem really nice and welcoming… 👍 Bought 2 liter of milk for £2.50 which is cheap 👊❣️
Easy to find especially with a sign off the main road. Parking was ok with easy access into the shop. The shop is filled with gorgeous looking produce and although we only went for some Raw milk we came away with a good amount of tasty goodies. We'll definitely be back.
