Barton Brook Dairy is a third generation dairy farm in Barton near Preston, Lancashire, selling raw milk daily from the farm and handmade gelato made with its own herd's milk.
Barton Brook Dairy is a third generation family dairy farm on Station Lane in Barton, just north of Preston, home to an award winning herd of 120 milking cows.
Raw milk and raw milk milkshakes are sold straight from the farm every day from 8am to 7pm, in half litre, one litre and two litre sizes, with click and collect on the way.
In 2016 farm manager Phil and his wife Sara set out to diversify beyond difficult supermarket milk prices, and after a visit to an ice cream convention chose gelato over the usual farmhouse ice cream, inspired by Phil's time in Florence. Today Sara makes over 30 flavours on the farm using the herd's own milk, served Wednesday to Sunday from the farm, and there is even a lactose and sugar free gelato for dogs. The herd is milked in a robotic parlour and has its own barn to relax in.

Fantastic place, extremely clean, friendly & helpful staff, dog friendly, nice seating area. The milk is raw, (how nature intended), my daughter is lactose intolerant, but raw milk she has no problem with, also sell milkshake. Ice-cream parlour - Lots of diffrent variety & sizes, also coffee, all yummy. It's well worth the trip if your not local. Will be visiting again to stock up on milk. 5⭐️

🛑Absolutely shocking customer service. 🚨🚨 Google clearly states they close at 6: 00 PM, but we arrived at 5: 40 PM and were turned away. The staff was incredibly rude and just flat-out said "no, we are closed" without a care. not even deserve 1star If you don't want to serve customers until your actual closing time, change your hours. Disgusting attitude. Avoid.🚷
