Forster's Farm Shop
Forster's Farm Shop is a fifth generation organic farming family's shop at Haigh Woodland Park in Wigan selling their own grass fed beef and lamb, homemade sausages and bacon, and local produce.
Forster's Farm Shop is run by a fifth generation family of organic farmers who have lived and farmed on the estate surrounding Haigh Woodland Park in Wigan for 60 years.
Their animals graze the pastures around the park, and you will often spot them in the fields as you drive in. The family rear organic, grass fed beef and lamb for the shop.
Alongside their own meat they make sausages, burgers and dry cured bacon, and stock free range chicken and pork, organic vegetables, dairy products, cheeses, artisan jams, relishes and chutneys. The shop sits in the Kitchen Courtyard at the park and opens Tuesday to Sunday.

Top quality products and excellent service in a lovely setting. Staff were very knowledgeable and happy to help and the food is delicious.
Great value organic meat and lots of well chosen condiments and desserts.
We always consider these to produce the best sausage we've had, the regular (plain) pork sausage are just unbeatable. Whatever you do please don't change it. Today we decided to have some rump steaks and by god were they worth it, possibly the most tender and most flavour we have ever had in a rump steak. If anyone says they aren't up to standard they obviously can't cook a great steak. You know it's going to be a good steak when the butcher cuts through it like butter and it doesn't have that bright red colour. Well done all.
