Caprikorn Farms

This was an interesting shop. We stopped here on a whim. I bought bar soap with accessories and it smells incredible. Friends I was with also purchased goat cheese. We visited the goats and fed them animals crackers. The owner was very personable.

I left a message on their answering machine about needing a goat in milk in an emergency situation. The emergency situation was the one of my goats had passed away as a result of a difficult delivery. My one year old can only drink goats milk because of his allergies. There are no goat dairies or goat milk retailers within two hours of me, so we have milked our own goats since shortly after he was born. So my need was desperate, I was willing to pay a nice sum of money to acquire a doe in milk and to drive for her. Well, the owner, i think his name was scott, called me back a few days later and did not even give me a chance to speak. He started by saying it doesn't matter if you are from west virginia or Saudi Arabia, the prices are on the website. He then proceeded to hang up the phone without letting me speak a word. So rude and such an embarrassment to the profession of agriculture. He must be a troubled soul, we should pray for him.
