Not much to see, just a place to buy cheese.
Excellent operation, clean and well taken care of animals and equipment with delicious products!
Worth a trip.
Love the goats milk and the Napoleons Peak cheese is a staple in my house.
Delicious milk, yogurt, and cheese (lots of different cheeses). They also have strawberry yogurt smoothies! Everything i’ve tried is great!
Suzanne is such a sweet and kind person. You can tell there’s passion in what she does and that the goats are treated so right and humanely. And all the products I got were delicious!
AMAZING cheeses, super friendly owner. I will be back again and again. I cannot recommend their chevre, Shenandoah Summer and Potomac Sunrise cheeses enough- they are utterly decadent and delicious.
I bought some "Fine Farmstead Goat Milk Cheese" at the Charles Town Farmer's Market. It was superb. Great product. Fresh and very tasty. I am grateful for this product and the farm producing it.
Shepherd's Whey Creamery is a family run Grade A goat dairy in Martinsburg, West Virginia making artisan goat cheeses, yogurt and caramel from its own herd's milk.
Shepherd's Whey Creamery makes fine artisan goat milk cheese on a farm in Martinsburg, West Virginia, from the milk of its own herd. The range runs from fresh chevre and Greek style feta to bloomy rind wheels like Classic Camembert and Snow Buttons, and on to aged cheeses such as Alpsiago, Potomac Sunrise and Shenandoah Summer.
Beyond the cheese there is Goatgurt, sold by the quart or as smoothies, and cajeta, a goat milk caramel. Order through the online shop, or check the where to find page for shops and markets that carry the cheese.
