BAD Farm is the Rice family's dairy farm in Kempton, Pennsylvania, holding a raw milk permit since 2009 and selling raw milk, raw milk aged cheeses, eggs and home raised meat from a self service farm store.
BAD Farm is a second generation family farm in Kempton, Pennsylvania, started by Beth and Dave Rice in 1986 and now owned by their son Jason and his wife Kacey.
The family milks around 65 Holstein cows, farms about 600 acres of cropland and has held a Pennsylvania raw milk permit since 2009. Raw milk started it all, and the dairy now makes raw milk aged cheeses, yogurts, smoothies, butter, cottage cheese, mozzarella, curds and ice cream, with a pasteurised whole milk line sold alongside the raw.
A flock of 200 Rhode Island Red hens is raised cage free for brown eggs, and the farm raises Holstein steers for beef, pigs bought in as weaned piglets from a neighbouring farm, and a Polypay and Texel cross sheep flock. Everything is sold from the self service farm store on the farm, open 6am to 8pm every day, cash or check only, along with baked goods and prepared meals made with the farm's own milk, eggs and beef.

Great place So glad I went. Great variety meats, meals, desserts and everything dairy.; ) Owner extremely friendly helped me understand products and honor system. For me.. searching for great fresh tasting mozzarella..I found it..very nice flavor not salty. Going back for more. Soon. Also I went very late and there was still a great selection. Owners have done a wonderful job to make this store convenient, just modern enough and welcoming. Thanks; ).
Incredible quality dairy and beef and a great spot to have their homemade ice cream. Self-serve cash and check.

Amazing milk!!!
the best chocolate milk.
Excellent quality, milk, and ice cream. I always try and get their milk and support local. It’s also available at farmers markets and AEC market near me.
Went there for the first time and it did not disappoint. They had a lot of great choices and so far everything has been delicious. Kids love the ice cream. We also made some of the rib steaks and they were amazing! Will definitely be going back.
Great Experience. Very natural environment. They have fresh dairy, eggs and ice cream which taste great. They only accept cash at the store. Would definitely go back whenever I get a chance.
