Maters & Milk Neighborhood Market is a family owned corner store in Spartanburg, South Carolina, reopened under the care of the next generation of the family that ran it before.
The market works with local farmers who look after their soil, raise animals humanely and grow with the seasons, so the shelves change through the year.
Staples include raw milk, heirloom tomatoes, pasture raised meats, raw cheeses, butter, farm fresh eggs and seasonal produce, along with fresh baked bread, sweets and handmade tinctures. It is a walk in neighbourhood shop, open from Wednesday to Saturday.

April always does her best to accommodate her customers.
We stopped in here for some raw milk and left with so much more! April was super warm and welcoming to us out-of-towners and was very knowledgeable about all of her products. Check out the locally made herbal tinctures and balms while you're there! We will be back!

Maters & Milk is my new favorite store in Spartanburg County! You can ALWAYS count fresh, desirable home-cooked goods, local & fresh produce, and the best of company in April! Don’t hesitate to ask her any questions as she is knowledgeable of her products, and leaves her customers with a smile. And, if you try Maters & Milk’s Shepard’s pie, along with a good glass of fresh & local Raw milk to pair…you can just thank me later for the mention lol.
We are so blessed to have this treasure trove in our neighborhood! It's amazing how many awesome goodies April packs into this adorable little building and I usually find something new to try every time, from the delicious dairy products (RAW MILK!!!), local eggs, honey, produce, amish butter and baked goods, locally handmade soaps and personal care items, jams and preserves, meats and cheese and much more! Love this little roadside store! Fresh local produce, meats, milk and other specialties! They also have our favorite Amish popcorn! Well worth stopping in and picking up something great! The owner is amazing!
