Refuge Farm is a family owned regenerative farm at Roebuck, South Carolina, built on the belief that food is medicine.
Eggs, chicken and pork come from animals raised outdoors on pasture with non-GMO feed, lamb is finished on grass, and the produce is grown no-till without chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers.
The farm store sells their own meat, eggs and vegetables alongside goods from other small local farms and businesses. Store hours are short, Wednesday and Friday from 4pm to 6pm, and you can also order through their online shop for delivery.

Refuge Farm is inspired by Joel Salatin’s approach, and it shows in how thoughtfully the farm is run. Emily and Cam are family friends, I even helped deliver farm products for them briefly, which was a great experience. Beautiful farm and excellent products.
My family has been shopping here just under a year and we are thoroughly impressed by their products and excellent customer service. They have great pasture-raised, non-GMO chicken, herbs and eggs. We now only buy our chicken from them.
Nice place, got some raw milk for first time. It's very good. Will be back for more.
Best chicken! It’s hard to buy chicken from the stores after having Refuge Farm chicken.
Had so much fun visiting Refuge Farm. We were excited to get some raw milk and fresh pasture raised eggs. They had a great selection of pork, beef, lamb and chicken too. Emily was very helpful and informative. Highlight of the visit? She let our toddler meet their cute little bottle lamb 🫶🏻🐑
Their products are very fresh and taste wonderfully. Will never go back to store bought eggs or chicken.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

The O'Sullivans do a great job raising organic, pasture raised poultry and eggs among many other things. Emily's energy bites are delicious as well! They have seasonal specials and offer many local products. Highly recommend!
