Double G Farm is a small farm in Elk River, Minnesota, run by the Nyberg family, who are steadily rebuilding the sandy soils typical of their corner of the state.
They graze carefully, compost at scale and sow cover crops, moving the animals to fresh grass every day so grazed ground gets a proper rest and parasite cycles are kept in check naturally.
The farm sells its meat direct through its online store, with delivery available, and the family are keen that customers see where their food comes from and know the real people who grow it.
