San Martin Milk Co.

The milk is sold raw, never pasteurised or homogenised, so it reaches the bottle just as it left the cow. You can order through the farm's online shop or call in at the farm, which is open every day from morning until evening.

Driving up to this place feels like a VIP red carpet event, thanks to a welcoming committee of actual cows and the friendliest staff around. We are now so utterly spoiled that we only buy our milk here and absolutely nowhere else. Honestly, trying to go back to regular grocery store cartons after this feels like a personal betrayal to the cows.

You drive into a farm and walk in the front door of the barn facing the driveway. There stands a refridgerator with all sorts of dairy products, ranging from raw milk to butter. The place is self-served, and you may pay with either cash or venmo. Definitely the best fresh milk I have tried in California. The taste is incomparable with that of store bought, and the atmosphere of the farm adds to the taste of the already below-market-value 12$/gallon. Coming here again soon, very impressed with the quality!!!
The raw milk is the BEST! First time trying raw milk...been drinking it for several months now, and absolutely love it. Highly recommend....super good. Friendly owners and staff...overall excellent experience.
I love supporting our last remaining diary farm in this county. But I wish they’d let the cows roam more freely and run in the green lush pastures, with grass as their only food as intended. I’ll be back to say to hi to my new friends again soon 💜👌🏽
