State dairy rules mean the milk is shared through a herdshare, where members buy a share in the privately owned herd and the farm does the milking, feeding and cleaning up on their behalf.

Joining starts with a farm tour, followed by a one time share purchase and a monthly subscription based on how much milk you take. Members collect their milk in returnable mason jars, often alongside seasonal extras such as cream and eggs.
