If you’re looking for a nourishing breakfast you can prep ahead, these overnight oats are a staple. Creamy oats made with raw milk, Greek yogurt and banana, layered with a quick blueberry compote, make for a balanced and delicious start to the day. Organised works exceptionally well in this recipe. Aside from adding precious nutrients it also makes the oats extra creamy. Store the oats in some jars for the perfect grab and go breakfast.
Serves 2
- 1 very ripe banana
- 1 cup organic sprouted oats
- 1 cup organic raw milk
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 2 scoops Organised
- 1 tsp of vanilla bean paste or ground cinnamon
Serve with:
- Extra greek yogurt
For the blueberry compote:
-
200g frozen blueberries
Using a fork mash down the banana until you have a smooth puree. Add in the oats, Organised, yogurt, raw milk and vanilla bean paste. Mix everything well until combined. Cover and place in the fridge overnight to set.
To make the blueberry compote add the frozen blueberries to a pan with a dash of water. Cook them on a low heat for 10-15 minutes until they become a but mushy and you have a chunky jam kind of consistency. Remove from the heat and let them cool down completely.
Remove the overnight oats from the fridge and serve with a generous dollop of yogurt and the blueberry compote.
Nourishment, without the taste.
Cooking organs twice a week doesn’t fit every routine. Organised is an organ blend, grass-fed, freeze-dried, nothing else.
