Brilliant farm, one of the best days out to a farm with our animal loving children that we've had. The way we could follow farmer Kiley around on the different activities was great and he made it interesting while also being funny too. The day included milking the cow, to feeding the lambs, holding the chicks, brushing the points, watching the sheep sheared, a tractor ride then our lunch in the picnic area. We recommend and we'll certainly be back.
Visited Boydells Farm today and my son absolutely loved it, he is obsessed with farms and tractors. All the staff were so friendly and they gave some fantastic demonstrations, great animal experiences and history of the farm. Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you so much for a exciting fun filled day.
Really nice farm and good experience with milking cows 🐄 kids loved it 😀
Absolutely wonderful place to go. Very educational, friendly and perfect for adults and children.
Boydells Farm is a fantastic farm experience and one that really stands out for its focus on educating visitors about the farm, the animals and where everything comes from. We've visited several times now, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are fantastic and clearly passionate about what they do. They give really informative talks throughout the visit and are always keen to get everyone involved, particularly the children. It's not just about seeing the animals; there's a real emphasis on learning about them and understanding more about life on the farm, which makes the experience much more interesting and engaging. The staff are also very friendly and approachable, and the talks are delivered in a way that keeps the kids interested and involved rather than simply talking at them. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours, and the combination of seeing the animals, learning about the farm and getting involved in the activities makes it a really enjoyable experience for both children and adults. We've really enjoyed our visits and would definitely recommend it.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

We had such a lovely time at Boydells Dairy Farm. It is very well organised. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You get to hand feed the animals and we also enjoyed a tractor ride. A really family friendly and reasonable day out. I would definitely recommend to others.
Such a amazing place to take your kids or anyone who loves animals. Very interactive, you can hold, feed stroke the animals. You can also feed lambs milk and milk cows at certain times. Wide range of farmyard and petty zoo animals. Somewhere I will be revisiting with the kids soon.
Lovely farm, you can buy food to feed the animals. You can milk a cow, bottle feed the lambs & pet guinea pigs &rabbits. The farm cat had given birth to kittens so we could cuddle them. There are alpacas, pigs, sheep, donkeys, ponies, cows, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs & goats. A very enjoyable few hours spent there.
Great little farm. We've been going for years and we still love it. Very hands on with goats, cows, guinea pigs, rabbits, ponies, donkeys, lambs, alpacas and loads more. You can feed them all with the cups of food you can buy. Toilets on site and a little picnic area. Very popular but quietens down after the rush at 10am and 2pm.
