Had a lovely time at a private tour today! So nice to get hands on with the animals, the chap who showed us around was brilliant and very knowledgeable. A wonderful way to spend a few hours. Kids loved it (but think I enjoyed it more 😀) Because it was just us there we could all have some lovely time with the animals. Thank you.

Myself and 2 children visited today for the farmers experience, I found it an excellent value for money. Very educational, hands on and fun for all.

Amazing for kids! Great value for money.

Amazing place. Had it described to me as a small farm that’s opened its doors to visitors when in fact I prefer it over a lot of similar and more popular animal attractions in Essex. It’s not the biggest place so opening for a morning or afternoon slot is a great idea. A couple hours here is more than enough but I would still recommend. Entry prices are fair, animal feed is 50p per cup which is cheaper than similar attractions. Everything here can be purchased with cash or card (even the tractor ride). The staff are great, informative and they have some animals you can hold and when it’s busy they make sure everyone gets a go. Great little attraction that’s well worth a visit!

Went for a family outing 2 mums 3 kids (7-2, 5) affordable entrance and very cheap animal food available to buy and refill at only £50 per cup it was a generous portion and we could do with 1-2 portion per child for a whole visit. Including lunch break we spend there 3 hours. We didn't joined for a tractor ride, but experience feeding of goats, sheep, cows, pigs, cow milking, lamb bottle feeding, holding and petting of chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs and kittens. Wholesome day and very polite kind and attentive staff.

Boydells Farm is a fantastic farm experience and one that really stands out for its focus on educating visitors about the farm, the animals and where everything comes from. We've visited several times now, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are fantastic and clearly passionate about what they do. They give really informative talks throughout the visit and are always keen to get everyone involved, particularly the children. It's not just about seeing the animals; there's a real emphasis on learning about them and understanding more about life on the farm, which makes the experience much more interesting and engaging. The staff are also very friendly and approachable, and the talks are delivered in a way that keeps the kids interested and involved rather than simply talking at them. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours, and the combination of seeing the animals, learning about the farm and getting involved in the activities makes it a really enjoyable experience for both children and adults. We've really enjoyed our visits and would definitely recommend it.

We had such a lovely time at Boydells Dairy Farm. It is very well organised. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You get to hand feed the animals and we also enjoyed a tractor ride. A really family friendly and reasonable day out. I would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely farm, you can buy food to feed the animals. You can milk a cow, bottle feed the lambs & pet guinea pigs &rabbits. The farm cat had given birth to kittens so we could cuddle them. There are alpacas, pigs, sheep, donkeys, ponies, cows, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs & goats. A very enjoyable few hours spent there.

Loved it here, so often you go to these 'farm parks' and it's a couple of animals that don't look very well looked after. Well Boydells is our new favorite place to go. Farm Kiley had this infectious attitude towards his animals and you cannot help but to love him. This farm is 100% worth a visit!

Great little farm. We've been going for years and we still love it. Very hands on with goats, cows, guinea pigs, rabbits, ponies, donkeys, lambs, alpacas and loads more. You can feed them all with the cups of food you can buy. Toilets on site and a little picnic area. Very popular but quietens down after the rush at 10am and 2pm.
