We did the Beekeeping experience with Gael this morning and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Gael’s knowledge and passion for beekeeping is so inspiring, she shared so much about how the hive works and how to look after them and put us all at ease immediately. Genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I’m now desperate for my own hive 😂 Thanks so much Gael, what a brilliant morning ❤️
We stopped by briefly and had a wonderful, friendly chat between beekeepers. We received the last jar of honey and a small gift. The conversation was really great and the exchange of information very interesting. Unfortunately, we're experiencing the same weather problems here as in Germany. I wish you much success for the coming season and full jars! 🐝🍯🫂
I would not recommend the honey it was quite disappointing.
We booked on for the beekeeping experience with Gael. Our original date got cancelled due to a storm but we were immediately re-booked back in for another weekend and we loved every minute of it! We would recommend to anyone who has an interest in beekeeping or just wanting to learn where honey comes from! Gael has so much passion for her bees and it was so lovely to learn. All communication was clear. We would recommend this experience and if you do, definitely grab a jar of honey 🍯 Thank you Gael 🐝
An absolute joy of an experience, from the start Gael's enthusiasm shines. Getting up and personal with her bees was truly amazing. Gael explains everything in great detail and answers any questions you might have. Was so much fun. I want a hive........or two now.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

We visited Gael for her beekeeping experience. It was a fantastic day out. We learnt so much from Gael and her passion for beekeeping was infectious. It was great to get so up close with the hives and witness what goes on inside them. We even got to see some new bees emerging from their cells. Would 100% recommend visiting her and would 1000% recommend her honey. It’s some of the best we’ve had and have stocked up for the long winter with lots of jars from Abbot House.
We are lucky enough to host some of Gael’s hives. Her work is a labour of love, caring for and supporting one of our greatest natural resources. Without our Bees there would be no flowers, fruit nor HONEY. The honey is fabulous, acknowledged by her peers as being of the finest quality. Christmas 2022 I gave all my friends gifts made by the bees (and Gael). The honey, candles and balm delighted all. Thankfully I shopped early as the Bees produce a limited quantity of honey. No worries tho, the quality of the product does not diminish over time.
