On our way to the Peak District, we came across this milk farm with excellent reviews and decided to stop by to buy some organic milk. When we arrived, we found out that a booking was actually required. However, the farm owner was very kind and welcoming, and still allowed us to purchase the milk. She even gave our children a little guided tour, explaining how milk is produced and where it comes from. It was a wonderful learning experience for them. The farm owner is such a friendly and passionate person who clearly puts a lot of care into running this small farm. We hope more people will come and support this lovely local business. Highly recommended — just remember to make a booking in advance before you visit!

What a fantastic local find! I collected raw organic milk from this farm and was so impressed by the quality, the care for the cows, and how friendly and generous the owners were with their time. They showed us the herd and explained their automatic milking system, pasture work, and focus on healthier soil, wildlife, and animal wellbeing. They also sell their own ice cream, eggs and meat. I cant recommend them enough - just remember to order your milk the day before as its prepared to order to avoid waste.

We are absolutely delighted with Buckwell Organic Milk! The milk is fantastic, fresh, delicious, and genuinely natural. We have also tried their ice cream, which is equally excellent and highly recommended. We initially placed an order for delivery, which was spot-on, but then realised the farm is only a short drive from us, so we now prefer to collect in person. Visiting the farm was a wonderful experience. The cows are clearly very well cared for, calm, healthy, and loved. Mark took the time to explain everything, from feeding and animal care to the robotic milking system and the farm’s impressive cleanliness standards. Their passion, transparency, and commitment to quality truly shine through. They have definitely gained us as regular customers, and we are very happy to support such an outstanding local farm. I contacted this farmer after reading his website because I wanted to purchase Raw Organic Milk, I was invited by the farmer to come to his farm and he would give me a tour of the farm and then I would collect my mil. When I arrived at the farm he met me, he was a very nice man and took me to see the heard of cows he had and I must admit I was totally blown away by what I saw. When I say I saw HAPPY COWS I mean HAPPY COWS. They were totallty calm in such good quality shelters and to see they could actually lay down in their own spaces and go and milk themselves whenever they wanted to and to be able to roam in the most beautiful surroundings was something I never expected to see. I have never been on a farm like this one. EVERYONE should go and visit this place it is amazing. I purchased my milk and I have been on this milk for a week now and I must say the creaminess and consistency of the milk is NOTHING like you buy in the supermarket. I will never go back to drinking that. I feel so happy that I went on this tour and will have this vision with me forever as to the animal welfare that this farmer and his Son are dedicated towards the health of their heard. The cows were clean with beautiful coats of fur and I have told everyone I come into contact with about this farm, the milk and the cleanliness how happy the cows were. I would like to thank the owner for giving me the tour and I shall be repeating my order again very shortly.
We were staying in the area over Xmas and bumped into the farmer whilst on a nearby walk. He invited us to the farm and gave a fantastic tour, explaining to the kids how modern dairy farming works. It was very informative and a great way to spend 30-45 mins, with some organic ice cream and milk from the shop to finish!
Beautiful organic farm and great raw milk! We were really lucky to have the owner show us around the farm and educated us on farming for almost the whole day! We need more farmers like this, recommended to buy direct from farms to support organic produce, for better food and health.
