Great products, great idea and a nice setting.
Fantastic place, straight from the cows, the taste is so good. A must!
Absolutely loved it here. Struggled a bit with the vending but then a lovely girl appeared and helped. Forgot to get bottle first and then while vending a glass bottle (£3 but plastic containers are free) the milkshake vending times out and I had to order again but lots of reassuring notices that if this happens you won’t be charged. Lovely and clean great facilities, sink/blue roll for inevitable spillages lol.
Ice cream nice, milkshake like water.
Okay but don't go with great expectations for a mind blowing milkshake or ice cream. Nice idea but it needs work on the milkshake and ice-cream offerings. I've driven past this place many times thinking it was a place offering a choice range of shakes and ice creams. Turns out it's limited vending machines primarily for dispensing raw unpasteurised milk. There is a milkshake machine with a minimum delivery of one litre for £2.40, so good pricing. I choose the Bannoffee flavour but it's weak and not much flavour; ended up adding syrup from the ice cream section to make it have any flavour and sweetness. The ice cream is like that Mr Whippy style dispensed into a small tub. No toppings, no flavours just plain white ice cream. There are some squeezy bottles of syrup that you can add free of charge but it's a bit of an after thought, most were empty. The ice cream is not produced by the farm but is bulk manufactured powder based from Arla but to be fair is better than a McFlurry. I'm not sure if this place is a small family owned dairy farm working with Arla or is owned by Arla.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

We stopped by Home Farm Dairy with our wife and son and had a fantastic experience. We picked up the chocolate, vanilla, and banoffee milk in the 1-litre bottles, and they were all absolutely delicious. Each flavour was rich, creamy, and full of taste, with the banoffee being a particular favourite. It was great to see such high-quality local produce, and the fresh milk really stood out. The setup was easy to use, and everything was clean and well presented. A lovely stop for the family, and we’ll definitely be returning to try more of the range in the future.
Good in theory, but a little disappointed. This was my first time visiting The Milk Shed it was very busy. Due to the weather there were flies everywhere around the self-serve areas, which was a put off. The milkshake was a bit thin for my liking. It's a shame because it seems like a fun idea and is a reasonable price.
Excellent milk shake and raw milk. Very easy to operate the machine. Must stop if you are passing by.
This place is quirky and is definitely worth a stop on the journey! Self serve vending machines, selling fresh milk, ice cream, milk shakes, hot drinks and cheese. The best vending machines ever! Buying fresh milk from a vending machine is a fresh first for me! Closed 11pm-5am Milkshake Flavours Banana Chocolate Strawberry Salted caramel Vanilla Mint chocolate I ordered a banana milkshake and it was delicious! 1 litre and it was only £2.40! Absolute bargain! This place is cute and is an experience! For the milk lovers out there go visit now!
