  1. 1Our Cow Molly Dairy Ice CreamOur Cow Molly Dairy Ice CreamFarm in Sheffield4.8 (2016 reviews)Our Cow Molly is a family run dairy farm at Dungworth on the edge of Sheffield, where the herd's own milk and cream are turned into small batch ice cream on the farm. The scooping cabinet runs from classics like chocolate and strawberry to Bakewell Tart, Wild Cherry Cheesecake and Cora's Chaos, with a couple of sorbets and take home tubs in two sizes. Fresh milk is just as much of the story, with a vending machine shop at the farm open long hours every day and a doorstep delivery round. The ice cream parlour itself opens daily through the school holidays.
  2. 2Bank House FarmBank House FarmFarm in Doncaster4.8 (72 reviews)Bank House Farm is a family run dairy farm on High Levels Bank near Doncaster, selling fresh raw milk straight from the farm. The cows are grass fed and free range, and the milk passes from milking to customer with minimal handling and the shortest of supply chains. Milk is sold on site every day through a self service honesty arrangement, so you can call in when it suits, help yourself and leave payment as you go.
  3. 3Owston Grange FarmOwston Grange FarmFarm in Doncaster4.7 (23 reviews)Owston Grange is a family run dairy farm at Owston, just outside Doncaster, run by Andrew alongside his wife and daughter. The family milk a herd of Holstein cows and are well known locally for the quality of their milk, farming on a small, independent scale rather than supplying big industrial buyers. Milk is sold direct from the farm, along with raw honey, and their raw milk shakes are worth stopping for if you are passing. Andrew takes real pride in meeting visitors and sharing the story behind the farm, and the gate is open every day of the week.
