Old Park Organics is John and Wendy Tims's farm at Old Park Farm, Syresham, near Brackley in Northamptonshire.
After decades in dairy the family began converting the land around 2015, joined the Pasture For Life association, and reached full organic status certified by Organic Farmers & Growers. Their cattle spend their entire lives grazing pasture, eating only grass and forage, with no grain, no concentrates, no routine antibiotics and no growth promoters, managed with mob grazing across old hedgerows, ridge and furrow meadows and pockets of woodland.
The beef is hung for 21 days, butchered in their own unit, and sold through the online shop and the Saturday farm shop. Rare breed Large Black pigs live in the farm's woodland and provide pork in limited quantities. The shop also carries goods from trusted local partners: pastured eggs and chicken raised at Astwell Castle, Pasture for Life organic lamb and mutton from The Inkpot, honey from hives on the farm, and homemade preserves.
