The family moved from downtown Jacksonville in 2007 after realising how disconnected they were from their food, and built the farm on Joel Salatin style pasture based principles.
Every animal is ethically raised out on pasture with no chemicals, hormones, antibiotics or GMOs, ever. The herbivores never eat grain, while pigs and chickens get non GMO Project Verified feed tested monthly for herbicide and pesticide residues. Animals move frequently behind electric netting to build soil health, and the farm uses no synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides on its land. Customers shop online and collect from pickup locations, farmers markets and free neighbourhood drop points across North Florida.
