Little Captain Creek Farm in Thurmont, Maryland is a fourth generation Amish regenerative farm selling A2/A2 raw dairy, raw sheep dairy, grass finished beef and lamb, and pastured pork.
Little Captain Creek Farm at Thurmont, Maryland is run by Stephen and Elizabeth Stoltzfus, fourth generation Amish farmers and the first in their family to farm regeneratively.
They moved from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 2022 and have poured their energy into reviving a run down farm's soil ever since. The herd of 50 milking cows is 100% grass fed and rotationally grazed, moved to a fresh strip of grass two to four times a day, and most heifer calves stay on their mothers until four months old.
Through a private buying club and a self serve farm store the family sells A2/A2 raw cow dairy, raw sheep dairy, 100% grass fed and finished beef and lamb, pastured pork raised on raw skim milk and non GMO grain, corn free and soy free chicken, eggs and turkeys, plus kombucha, kefir, ice cream and fresh sourdough. The farm store on Old Kiln Road is open dawn to dusk Monday to Friday, dawn to 5pm Saturday, and closed Sunday.

Really liked this place. Friendly fellow greeted us, stocked up fresh vanilla ice cream for us, along with offering us a box and spoons for all the stuff we got. Great price and I love not having to drive all the way to PA for good milk. The ice cream was amazing, incredibly soft and didn’t melt as quickly as store ice cream. Didn’t make my stomach hurt either like store ice cream. Clean ingredients. Cute cows too. Will be back!!

The owners were offering a wagon ride and farm tour, which was very fun for kids and adults. The tour was about an hour and they worked very hard to ensure we have a great time. They also sell milk, egg, produce, etc. I definitely recommend stopping by.
