The breed is an old Gulf Coast landrace suited to heat and humidity, and the herd grazes native range, feeding on the varied forage and browse that gives the beef its character.
The beef is dry aged and sold directly from the farm, which is open Tuesday to Saturday. The family takes real pleasure in introducing the breed to new farmers and ranchers, and since the website was unreachable when we last checked, it is worth phoning ahead for a price list.

Wonderful meat and specialty products.
They have great deals on ground beef. It's the perfect alternative to store bought meat. Great family business.
I love Reyer Farms Better Beef!!! The hamburger meat is lean and just delicious. It is so much better than grocery store beef. I won't buy beef from the grocery store after having Reyer Farms beef. The steaks melt in your mouth. If I could only teach my husband how to cook, I would have it made!!!
