Lazy Daizy Farm

A chance search for a dairy ram led to two bred East Friesian ewes in 2020, and the flock has grown toward 12 milking ewes, selling naturally A2 raw sheep milk that the farm describes as creamy and a cheesemaker's dream. High percentage East Friesian and Lacaune lambs and sheep are sold seasonally for those starting their own milking flock.

The farm treats itself as a classroom as much as a dairy. Hands on workshops cover FAMACHA scoring, fecal egg counting, body condition scoring and hoof trimming, taught from the belief that knowledge means better care for animals and better health for families. Lazy Daizy is a member of the Dairy Sheep Association of North America and is working toward Raw Milk Institute certification. Wool, dryer balls and handmade peg looms round out the shop.
