Eagleview Farm

The herd began with a few goats bought in 2014 and became the Eagleview herd in 2015; it is enrolled in DHIR milk testing and annual Linear Appraisal, and the family grows its own hay. A new milking parlour, finished in spring 2026, keeps milking in a clean space separate from the barn, with sanitised machine milking, filtered lines and milk chilled to 38 degrees within about 30 minutes.

The goat milk is bottled raw. North Carolina law does not allow raw milk to be sold for human consumption, so it is labelled for pets and soap making and sold at farmstands in the surrounding area, with farm pickup by appointment. The farm also sells cuts of beef from animals born and raised on its pastures, fed its own hay along with a small daily hand fed grain ration, and pork from pigs kept on shaded pasture with extra goat milk and garden produce in their diet.
