Red Barn Farm is one of my favorite places in the area. Whether you’re stopping in for fresh meat, local products, or just to see the animals, there’s always something special about visiting. Amy, the owner, is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet. You can tell how much she cares about her farm, her customers, and providing quality products. Everyone is always so welcoming, and it really feels like a place that’s rooted in community. I love knowing where my family’s food comes from, and the quality is unmatched. It’s become one of our regular stops, and I recommend it to everyone looking to support a local family farm.
Hours need an update and there should be a sign before having to turn down a random unmarked dirt road.
They do have good products in it is all organically raised and grown with good quality but unfortunately they do not stop very much out there so it is advised that you call out there and ask them what they have on the shelves before you go. The products that we did get from there were good quality and tasted good.
We visited to get Valentine's pics with the Highland cow. Super affordable. Super cute. Also, they sell fresh meat and other products. They also have a farm in the back where you can see other farm animals. Definitely worth a visit!
Thanks for the tour Amy! Great meeting you and Zoe. Eggs, milk & beef are awesome! Can't wait to return to your beautiful farm. See you in virginia beach one day!
Anne and Amy are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to trying the vanilla beef tallow on my hands and brisket beef jerky. We love the farm's beef ribeye and bratwurst.
Red barns country store is a little gem tucked away off the main roads. It has all the local meats, milks, produce, and jams like you’d expect at a small farm store. They are always adding products, and expanding into new areas, so you never know what else they may have next week. (They do have raw milk for your pets if you’re searching)
