Wonderful people, great products.
We've acquired our 2nd year of a 1/2 side of beef and it is hands down the all around best meat we've found. Grass fed grass finished cows, a cute small farm, friendly people. This is how everyone should buy their food.
We are now on our second 1/2 cow from Broadrun and their cuts of meat are fantastic. The steak is just amazing. Grass fed organic for less than what you’d pay for some of the cheapest beef at Costco. Just need a deep freezer to store it. I would highly recommend getting meat from them.
Been coming here for years. Our family really enjoys their raw milk! We also got a 1/2 steer and had great tasty meats that lasted us a good while! We occasionally get some raw honey and cheese as well. Support your local farmers and feel good knowing where your food comes from. They're a nice family with a wonderful business! -Heidi and Jim.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Bought a 1/4 cow. It is not good, I am throwing it out. Yes I would rather lose hundreds of dollars than eat this. I won't even give it to charity it is so bad. It has a strong smell while cooking, not putrid, but not right, almost sickly. Once cooked for 8 hours the smell/ taste was still there, I managed to get a bite or 2 out of pure spite before I threw it out. Thawed 4 more packs, all the same metallic sour smell, bad texture, blood clots, splatter and streaking in the fat, like they didn't even bled the cow. Cruel and unsanitary. Emailed the farm offering to bring them a steak so they can know what happened, didn't ask for anything just wanted them to experience this too. After trying to blame me for unsafe food handling they decided to tell me that is just how their beef tastes. I was a chef for 20 years purchasing organic grass feed beef from multiple farms for several restaurant I ran. This is by far the worst I have ever tasted.
Wonderful milk, sadly we didn't buy any because you have to join the CARE program ($20/year) to purchase any at all. Heads up you also have to bring your own container for milk or buy a mason from them for 3.25. We bought some tasty grass fed+finished beef. Owners are very nice, we sampled the milk. If I lived closer I would happily have bought into the milk program. They also sell eighth of cows and partial pigs.
