Very cute and great choice for a stop. The rooster crowing and the chicken clucks were added bonus to walking around the store. Obsessed with the sourdough pretzels! I was able to get dog treats, which my fluffy little man is also obsessed with his salmon treats. Lentils, homemade treats and a homemade muscle/headache rub. Glad I made the extra stop in my afternoon.
We recently stopped at Soil & Soul Farm Market, and I absolutely loved this place. It’s actually located on a farm, so the parking area is gravel and there aren’t marked parking spaces, but there is plenty of room to park. They have such a great variety of locally sourced and natural products. We picked up some kombucha, which was really good, and their kimchi was delicious. I also bought several different types of tea. They have pre-packaged teas, but one of my favorite things was their loose tea section where you can choose and mix your own tea and pay by the ounce. What really impressed me was that they have laminated information sheets explaining the different teas and their traditional uses and potential health benefits. It makes it so much easier to decide what you might want to try instead of just guessing. Everything was clearly labeled and organized. They also carry meats, eggs, dairy products, produce, breads and baked goods, honey, spices, preserves, natural health and beauty products, and a variety of homeopathic-style products for different needs. There is honestly so much to look at and choose from. I also noticed that they offer different classes and workshops, and I’m already looking into taking some of them. This is exactly the kind of small local business I love finding. I really enjoyed our visit, I’ll absolutely be back, and they definitely gained a customer for life!
