The best farms

  1. 1A corner of the milk shed with bread in a basket, a bottle of raw milk on an old barrel and a Dairy Fresh Milk signWeir's Organic Raw MilkRaw milk · Craigavon5 (37 reviews)Weir's Organic Raw Milk is a small family run organic dairy at Tandragee in Northern Ireland, where the Weir family produce raw milk from grass fed cows. The milk is barely touched on its way to the bottle, simply filtered, chilled and bottled, so it keeps its natural composition and freshness. Milk is sold directly from the farm six days a week, with animal welfare and traditional farming at the heart of things. The family have built a reputation for rich, nutrient dense milk with a taste to match.
  2. 2Rosemount Cottage Farm MeatsRosemount Cottage Farm MeatsMeat · Craigavon5 (13 reviews)Rosemount Cottage Farm Meats is a small family run farm on Ardress Road outside Portadown, rearing Dexter cattle, an old native Irish breed and the smallest in Europe, alongside lambs and rare breed pigs. The Dexters are grass fed and grass finished, maturing slowly on pasture without grain, and the lambs are pasture fed on the farm's own ground. The online butchery sells steaks, roasts, mince, dry cure bacon, a long list of sausages, meat boxes and the farm's own apple juice. Orders are taken around the clock with collection times arranged from the farm, though delivery does not reach mainland UK.
  3. 3Loughgall HoneyLoughgall HoneyRaw honey · Armagh4.6 (7 reviews)Loughgall Honey is a grandfather and grandson beekeeping team on Derrycrew Road in Armagh, in the heart of Northern Ireland's Apple County. Beekeeping knowledge has passed down through the family, and the honey is kept 100% natural and raw, a straightforward taste of the local countryside. Jars are sold from the farm through the week and on Sunday afternoons, with honey soap and lip balms rounding out the range. Delivery can be arranged if you cannot call in.

Where do I start.. we got Rosemont Cottage Farm in for a Surprise 40th BBQ.. Colin was a pleasure to deal with from initial phonecall to the BBQ itself. The food and setup was amazing.. The real BBQ smell was in the air and the food was perfection.. He even accomadated for vegans and celiac guests.. The hardesat part of the event was keeping it a secret from the wife... Credit to Colin and Linda for an absolutely amazing BBQ.

  • Loughgall Honey

Fantastic local company! Not only is their honey absolutely gorgeous but they are also prepared to go and rescue a poor distressed and tired swarm as soon as they hear of it. Thanks guys, on behalf of the Bees!
