Orders go through the online shop at yourlarder.com, with courier delivery to your door plus local delivery and click and collect. Alongside the fresh beef, lamb, pork, poultry and venison there are sausages, bacon and burgers, meat boxes for the family, and gift cards.

The heather honey, made when the bees work the purple moors in late summer, has the thick, aromatic character the apiary is known for, while spring brings a sweeter blossom honey from wild flowers and fruit trees.
Both honeys come in 227g and 454g jars from the online shop, along with a special blend fortified with a nip of malt whisky. Delivery covers the whole UK and shipping gets cheaper the more jars you order, and click and collect is available from the apiary at Conon Bridge.

Plants, seeds and reference booklets are sold by mail order, mainly in spring and autumn, and the nursery welcomes visitors from spring through to early autumn. It closes on Wednesdays, so plan your visit for another day.

I was lucky enough to be given some marmalade from Struan Apiaries a while ago and on the strength of its excellence recently ordered a selection of marmalades, preserves and honey. This morning, Royal Mail managed to deliver the parcel to the wrong address but Struan immediately got the matter sorted. So the service was as good as the product. Recommended.

A special list herb nursery with a great range of herbs you won't find anywhere else. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Be aware there are no facilities here.
