The farm assured herd was founded in 1826 and has been providing milk for nearly 200 years. Raw milk is sold direct from the farm, with vending machines on site so customers can buy fresh raw milk in glass bottles at a time that suits them.
The family also runs a local milk round, delivering to the surrounding villages, an offer local press described when the farm first opened its gate sales. The farm also sells pasteurised milk, cream and butter online by post, a separate line from the raw milk sold only at the farm gate.
