Fisher Farms is a family-run farm in Abita Springs, Louisiana, raising pasture-raised chickens and quail alongside sprouts, fresh flowers and hearth-baked breads.
The family farms hands-on, with the health of the land and the birds at the front of every decision.
Fresh eggs, sold raw or pickled, are the mainstay, and locals can join the farm's egg co-op, returning their used cartons to be filled again. The farm opens to visitors on Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
