Meyer Provisions is a family owned food store on Maple Street in New Orleans, run by Greg and Maria Meyer.
The shop pairs imported Italian olive oils and pastas with farm fresh dairy and small batch goods, working directly with farms in Louisiana and Mississippi so the local produce stays fresh, and there are kosher and gluten free options in the mix.
This is a shop to visit rather than a farm, open daily from 7am to 7pm, and you can email meyerprovisions@gmail.com with questions about products or sourcing before you make the trip.

Myers Provision is one of the best spots in New Orleans for accessible farm-fresh products. Their selection is top and the milk might be the best in the city, no exaggeration. The owner, Greg is nice. Place is run with real care. Highly recommend.
My husband and I have been getting our raw milk and farm eggs from here for the last few months and are so grateful for this wonderful, charming little spot in New Orleans! They have a fruitful selection of local items and imported high quality items from Europe. What a gem!
This place is the best! They have farm fresh eggs, and chicken. The chicken is some of the cleanest we've ever seen requires no trimming whatsoever. They have grass fed steaks and ground beef and a ton of other good stuff. They also stock delicacies from around the world and at holiday times will make you a very nice gift basket. We are in there twice a week, at least, and can't recommend it more highly.
What a great specialty shop! Unique, imported foods, plus local produce and gifts. Meyer was great to chat with too!
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Check out the new little market on Maple Street, Meyer Provisions. Lots of great speciality foods including fresh produce from Covey Rise Farm, daily fresh bread from Bellegarde, kosher items, and much more.
