Meadow Creek Dairy is a family farm in Galax, Virginia making raw milk cheeses from the milk of its own grass fed herd.
The farm grazes seasonally, and the milk becomes a small lineup of cheeses, Appalachian, Galax, Mountaineer and Grayson, which have picked up awards along the way.
The cheeses ship directly from the online store, joined by extra aged and short run specials, gift collections pairing the cheese with local products, and gift certificates. If you are local you can arrange to collect your order instead.

I received four types of cheese as a birthday gift and I could not be more happy. What a wonderful idea for someone who has everything one needs. I’m grateful for something so delicious that I can share with family and friends. I highly recommend cheese from this farm.
Meadow Creek's fine cheeses were perfectly packed for shipping to south Florida. They were still chilled when delivered by UPS.
Splendid and very Educative with state of the art facilities. Waste (feed and dung) is reused to fertilise pasture on which Grass Fed Jersey cows browse. Excellent organic cheese. Friendly people and very welcoming and open.
