Chiricahua Pasture Raised Meats is a small family farm at Cochise in Southeastern Arizona, run by Josh and Tara Koehn.
The cattle and lambs are 100% grass fed and grass finished with no grains, hormones or antibiotics, while the pigs and poultry live on pasture with a supplement of grain milled on the farm, and rotational grazing keeps the animals moving onto fresh ground.
The online store sells beef, pork, lamb, chicken, eggs and holiday turkeys, along with raw milk from Desert Oasis Family Farm and Desert Brand pistachios. Orders go out by UPS home delivery or can be collected from neighbourhood pickup locations.

We love buying our meat and chicken from this farm. The quality is outstanding and tastes so much better than the grocery store. It gives me peace of mind knowing the animals are pasture-raised and humanely treated. Supporting a local farm makes it even better. Outstanding products and service!
Love this so much…so good to know where our food is coming from and that it is whole and nutritious! Also love that the pickup spot for my order is only 1/2 mile away. Have now tried the beef, chicken and hamburger and will get eggs when back in stock. Love that we can support local ranchers and farmers who are doing things right. Keep up the good work!
This was my first time ordering from CPR Farms, and have so far tried two of the three meats I purchased. I will definitely be ordering from them soon! After reading some disappointing reports on how the organically raised meat I’ve been buying (at big name grocery stores) may not be the brand name listed on the package, I lost some trust. Buying from a “local” farm seems to be the best choice right now. The ground Italian sausage is perfectly seasoned. Not too fatty and no gristle. It was delicious! The same with the ground beef - no gristle, just good fat and great texture!
I have unpacked my order which was shipped very very well. I have had my first order for about four days so far. I have eaten the New York strip, which was so delicious. I was surprised I have eaten hotdog which I ordered and are truly the best hotdog I’ve ever had and I just shared one with my friend after a workout and she was freaking out about how good they are so don’t forget the mixed meats here as well. I put the Italian sausage in a pot with a marinara sauce that I made from fresh tomatoes and garlic and olive oil and served it to some friends last night and we were all again freaking out. We’re generally calm people I’ve been talking to my friend about the difference in flavor between what you get in the store and when you get here, the meat is milder and tender-er. I love the idea that I am not loading my body with antibiotics and chemicals. I love the idea that the animals I’m eating had a good life before they died. I am a little annoyed with myself that I haven’t been doing this for And all the meat I’ve eaten and all the animals it suffered because of it. I am so grateful to my friend for referring you to me and I’m gonna plow through every wonderful bite and then order again. I was excited about the prospect of coming to see you and the farm which I plan to do in the next few months. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for your marketing savvy. Thank you for being Such professional professionals About the way you do business. The whole experience has been great and I’m never gonna go back. I have a good feeling about this because frankly luckily I can afford to do this and I feel like it’s a moral thing to do not that I should talk because I’m 67 years old and have just started doing it. We bought a variety of different things and can honestly say we loved the quality and taste of everything. The ordering process online is super simple and picking up from a local flex spot made everything easy and convenient. Would definitely be purchasing again and probably a lot more!
I am very happy I ordered meet from Chiricahua Farm! The meat came frozen and well packaged! The taste is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I cooked beef bones for the soup and the broth was so clear! I will buy meat from this farm from now on!!! Great customer servise as well!!!
I found Chiricahua Pasture Raised (CPR) Meats while searching the internet for beef suet. WOW! I hit the jackpot! Not only did CPR have the suet I was searching for, but their selection of grass fed / finished beef is extraordinary! I've been ordering various beef roasts as well as their primal ground beef blend for the past 3 weeks now. Pictured is a 4-LB Sirloin Tip Roast that I cut in half to fit in my slow cooker. Look at the pure red color of this beef! INCREDIBLE! This is what grass fed / finished beef looks like and the flavor is off the charts! You will not find beef of this quality in your traditional supermarket. CPR also offers free drop off at various Tucson pre-established locations. My drop off site is now closer to my home than if I had to drive to a supermarket! I strongly encourage you to give CPR a try. They also offer pasture raised chicken and eggs.
I was so happy to find a local butcher. Picking up the meat was so easy too. We saw the van as it was leaving. Our order was still frozen hard with no thawing issues at all. My first steak from CPR was so flavorful and juicy. All of us just loved it. I can't wait to try the ground beef with organ meat which is healthier then plain ground beef. I can't wait to get an order in for the hanger steak and tallow.
