Dumelow's Dairy

I had been looking for raw milk for years no idea how i missed this farm. If you visit Staunton Harold Estate Ferrers Centre for Arts & Crafts or their garden centre, then you MUST visit Dumelows Dairy for a raw milk milkshake or take a few pints home with you. You can buy several litres / pints and pop it in the freezer when you get home for that fresh rich creamy milk flavour. First time we brought it i put some in the fridge next to some homogenised milk. The difference is incredible, i shut the fridge door an the raw milk sticks to the side of the bottle with its rich cream yet the other milk looked like water. And if more people do research on homogenised milk they will realise how bad it is for them. Its made under very high pressure and forced through a fine filter hence it last in the fridge for weeks. Some of the bad things are the fact that its taken up by the body instantly because its so fine. And reports say its very carceogenic. Im no expert but I eat steel cut porriage takes hours to cook but also takes hours for the body to break it down unlike ReadyBrek or Crushed oat porriage and dont get me started on instant porriage. Enough said Dumelows raw milk has real layers of cream on the top, great for custards and rice puddings soo creamy and best of all you know its good for you. (an dont tell me fat is bad for you because the human body cant turn fat into fat look up eskimos who eat blubber an never suffer heat problems)

Amazing quality at a good price.

The most fantastic place for raw milk. Machine is easy to use and the milk is top notch and very reasonably priced. You can use your card for the milk itself, but bottles and other items are exact cash in honesty box, or bank transfer. I also buy my honey and duck eggs here, and they also sell the most adorable hand knitted items - clothing and toys. I would recommend them any day of the week!

Excellent farm with fantastic fresh produce. The raw milk from the vending machine is delicious, the duck eggs are always fresh, and the chocolate milkshake is absolutely amazing. Friendly service and great quality. Highly recommend!

It's a nice countryside place to stay for a while and get rest. You can buy raw milk and also enjoy ice cold milkshake with beautiful scenery.

Very fresh and raw milk. You can get milkshakes too. Bring your own bottle to fill up. Or you can buy one for 2 pounds. True example of say no to plastic. You can also buy honey, Duck eggs and Quail eggs.

Such a cute place to get raw milk. We stopped off before heading back to Birmingham. You can also buy eggs, including quails eggs. We noticed some hand knitted goods for sale. We’d stop by again if we’re ever in the area. The farmer was friendly and asked if we needed any help.
