Gibson's Farm Shop

Lovely shop and cafe with a great selection of produce including quality meat and local cheese.

Beautiful farm shop. Loads to offer. But the cafe id give a miss. Staff were polite. Food was bland. Had an eyelash on my plate. Plate was dirty. And for two lunches and two drinks £36 for a dirty plate. And an eyelash and so many flys although doors and windows shut and it’s October… also slow service. But would recommend the farm shop!

A fab farm shop selling a large variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, fresh pies and pastries, and more. Also stocks various gift items like wooden home and wares, woolly hats and socks, and make-your-own gift baskets. Produce is on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for the quality. We've enjoyed everything we've bought here, and keep coming back.

Really lovely farm shop and love; your owners.

Very friendly and helpful staff, we came in for cream tea just 15 minutes before cutoff and were helped without a fuss. All produce is fresh, with a wide range. The freshly baked cakes on the deli counter are particularly tasty!

Owner's son George Gibson helped me out a lot i will come again thanks to him.

Sadly stopped hoping to buy lunch for 4 people eat in or take away. Left without anything. No dogs allowed Cafe long wait times for table and food No take away food available from cafe Only pre-made sandwiches in A fridge wrapped in cling film but bread not fresh Sourdough bread to buy old and not fresh Looks good but not flexible in their catering offer.

They serve a lovely breakfast!

Several consistent poor experiences in the coffee shop have made me think this is just the way it is run. The first time, I thought it was a one off. The brunette waitress who served us on Friday 17 July was almost openly hostile. No one came to seat us, we had to approach the counter (there’s a sign saying wait here to be seated) despite hearing chatting and laughing behind the counter. Then she wasn’t interested in taking an order, so after waiting at our table another considerable time we again had to approach her. Coffee scalding hot on one of the hottest days, served with hot milk! Croissant served with no butter just plonked on a plate. But it was her attitude that was the worst. Went in again yesterday, Saturday 25 July. Same again, waited to be seated but this time a friendly woman called over to tell us to sit down, which we did. After waiting absolutely ages for the waitress (it was the miserable brunette again), I actually saw her taking the order of a couple who came in about 10 minutes after us. That was enough, blow this, we walked out as she gormlessly watched us. We also had previous experiences with the food which is why we now only go for coffee, but we won’t be doing that anymore now. It’s a shame because it could be such a lovely cafe.

My all time favourite farm shop and it’s right down the road from Aylesham! Such a great range of fresh food, I highly recommend the Gilda Brie and Spring Onion bread, and their fresh pasties and sandwiches in the open fridge, very reasonable and full of delicious filling. There’s a lovely café as well and you can feed the sheep for £1 a bag at certain times of the year.

A lovely store where you can get high quality food and other groceries. The staff were friendly and helpful. The selection of fresh food and general groceries was extensive enough to cover all one's requirements. The prices may be more than a regular supermarket but the quality matches it.

Have not visited in a while but love the place. Definitely worth a visit so much to see and buy wonderful bakery on site so fresh baked goods a must. The butchers offer a wonderful wide range of product. They even have a quick grab lunch place for people to grab on the run.

A nice, big shop with a nice meat and cheese counter and very friendly staff, but it shouldn't call itself a farm shop because it sells far too many things that you can buy in any regular supermarket. No fresh, homemade bread, no eggs (at least I didn't see any), no homemade jam, honey, or sauces. The bread was pre-packaged and delivered with too many additives, just like in a supermarket; you get better quality and healthier things from a bakery. It's a supermarket in the countryside, surrounded by fields, but not a farm shop. As a tourist who happened to be passing by, I expected more. It's also annoying that you can't get into the parking lot with larger vehicles (camper vans).
