One of the country's first farm shops opened here in the 1960s and now offers more Sussex produced food and drink than any other, beside a butcher's shop selling additive free meat reared at Middle Farm and on local Sussex farms, a cosy tearoom, and a cider barn holding a national collection of over 100 draught ciders and perries. The open farm welcomes families every day to meet the Jersey calves, sheep, goats, pigs and chicks.

Looking forward to adding some Mozzarella to the great tomatoes I picked up. Good blend of fruit and veg, lots of it local. Food selection of local cheeses and some different 'treat' items.

This farm was a community farm but has gotten ridiculously overpriced, they want £7 for a watermelon when down the road at other biodynamic/organic farm and shops only charge £4.50. I know its to pay for all the improvements but the people who have supported this place for many years are having no other choice to go to other places who go to the same wholesalers or grow it just the same.

Hackhurst Farm is simply beautiful. One of the highlights for me is the sauna. It’s beautifully built overlooking a lake with views of stunning countryside. It’s clean and spacious inside and there is a cold water dipping bath for when the heat gets too much. I always leave feeling totally relaxed and blissed out. I highly recommend!
